Final Fantasy II

Final Fantasy II (ファイナルファンタジーII) for the Famicom, released in Japan in 1988 by Square.

The original release, with Yoshitaka Amano's cover art. Final Fantasy II had no official English release until Final Fantasy Origins on the PlayStation in 2003, so this cartridge is the game as it first came out.

The box is clean and bright with light shelf wear on the edges, and the world map on the back is crisp. The manual has no writing, the cartridge label is clean, and the original clear plastic tray is included. The save battery hasn't been tested.

Will it work on my console?

Famicom cartridges have 60 pins and fit a Japanese Famicom, AV Famicom or a Famicom-compatible clone. On a NES you need a 60-to-72-pin adapter, and games with extra sound chips lose that audio through it.
